Illinois Divorce Forms – Without Children

For uncontested divorce proceedings in Illinois where children are not involved, specific documents and legal language are necessary. While Illinois law doesn't require a Parenting Plan in these cases, several other documents will be needed to finalize the divorce.

Generally, an uncontested divorce case in Illinois without children involves the following documents, although this list might not cover every personal situation or set of circumstances:

• Petition for Dissolution of Marriage
• Marital Settlement Agreement
• Appearance and Waiver of Service (if spouse waives service)
• Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage
  
• Certificate of Dissolution (filed with Illinois Department of Public Health)
